Families Helping Families
Join South Louisville Community Ministries for their annual Family Helping Families dinner to celebrate and support South Louisville!
This special dinner is an opportunity for families, friends, community and business leaders to celebrate the uniqueness and diversity of South Louisville. We’ll hear from and lift-up local heroes who have given so much of themselves to keep neighbors housed and healthy.
To start the evening off, we’ll hear from Hora Certa, a quintet that performs in a wide range of styles that can all be characterized as Brazilian jazz. After honoring our local heroes, we’ll have the privilege of hearing from our keynote speaker, Celine Mutuyemariya. She is a South Louisville neighbor, a leader in community organizing and quickly on the rise as a leader in Louisville (prepare to be inspired!).
A cash bar, small book sale from The Rosewater, and a Bourbon and Wine Pull will all be available.
All proceeds support the programming of SLCM. Find out more about how we provide basic needs to neighbors in crisis at slcm.org.
COVID vaccinations or a negative test in the last 48 hours are required for admission. Please bring your vaccination card with you (a photo also works)!
