Southend Tree Planting

You can make the Southend a little greener by planting trees with Louisville Grows! No experience is necessary, everyone is welcome. Trained Citizen Foresters will be there to lead you in becoming a proper tree planter!

Details:

• Registration will take place from 8:30am to 8:50am; planting groups will depart at 9am.
• All volunteers must be fully vaccinated.
• Wearing a mask is mandatory.
• Breakfast and lunch will not be served, but snacks will be provided.
• Dress appropriately for the weather.
• Neighborhood Cleanup Crew: If you are unable to participate in the actual planting of trees, join in the beautification by helping to pick up waste in the tree planting area. Volunteers will be provided gloves and trash bags.
